Ultra Slim NEC Versa Pro J UltraLite Netbook Preview , by Peter Z,

NEC is going to release an Ultra Slim 10.1 inch Netbook at the end of this month. The new model name is Versa Pro J UltraLite.

The most important feature of this new netbook is this size and weight.

The netbook total weight is an amazing 752g or 1.6 pounds. The thickness of the netbook is only 15.8mm which is about the width of a coin.

According to NEC, the Versa Pro J UltraLite is going to use an Intel Atom Z540 1.86GHz processor. It will include 1GB RAM and can expand to 2GB maximum. The hard drive will be a 64GB SSD.

The netbook screen is 10.1 inch with 1280x768 resolution. It has three USB inputs and will cost around US$800.
